Shopping Tips!

Some tips I live by when I do my grocery shopping:

1. Try to buy things you use in bulk--for example I make oatmeal everyday, and I can get 1lb of it for $0.60 from the bulk containers!  Check it out, you'd be surprised how many items you can find there!

2. Look into frozen fruits/veggies/meat.  Do a price check--at my grocery store they are a lot cheaper than fresh, and if I want to have some the next week I don't worry about them spoiling!

3.  Try to buy everything you'll need for 2-3 weeks.  This cuts down on gas bills if you drive to the grocery store, as well as time wasted!

4. Always write up a list!  If you're like me and you love to just peruse the grocery store, you'll save time and money if you go through your pantry/fridge/freezer/kitchen and make a list ahead of time and stick to it!

5.  It is common sense when you think about it, but never go to the store while hungry!  It will lead to shopping of unnecessary (and often adding up!) expenses!
